The Government of Canada has regularly assessed travel restrictions due to COVID-19. For non-essential travel between the United States and Canada, restrictions apply until at least 07/21/2021. It remains to be seen whether business or leisure travel will be possible for people vaccinated after July 21, 2021. It also remains to be seen whether the easing of border restrictions will initially apply only to those across US borders or to other foreign visitors.

Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau was quoted as saying that the border would certainly remain closed for some time for those who have not been vaccinated.
