The Olympic Games in Beijing will be played with their top stars thanks to the NHL break. Now Team Canada has announced its first nomination with three full stars.

It will be an Olympic tournament of superlatives: DEB has already confirmed that top star Léon Draisital will be there, and now the Canadian Association has announced its first three definitive nominations:

Along with Sidney Crosby (Pittsburgh), Conor McDavid (Edmonton) and Alex Pietrangelo (Las Vegas), the three absolute top stars will go on a hunt for maple leaves gold.
