Investing.com – Canadian shares were higher after the close on Monday, and higher in profit.
It was up 0.02% at the end of business in Toronto.
The best performers of the season were BRP Inc (TSX :), which rose 3.92% or 4.07 points to close at 107.95. Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc (TSX 🙂 meanwhile ended at 41.10, adding 3.55% or 1.41 points. George Weston Limited (TSX 🙂 gained 3.34% or 3.63 points to end at 112.45.
The worst performance of the session was Westport Fuel Systems Inc (TSX :), which fell 8.21% or 0.74 points to close at 8.27. Fortuna silver mines Inc (TSX 🙂 fell 6.30% or 0.53 points to end at 7.88. Ballard Power System Inc (TSX 🙂 was down 6.09% or 1.74 points at 26.85.
The falling shares ended the 661 to 415 and closed advances at 109 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Gold futures for June delivery were down 1.26%, or $ 21.80, to $ 1,710.50 per troy ounce. Crude oil for delivery in May rose 0.90%, or $ 0.55, to $ 61.52 a barrel in the commodities business, while the June Brent oil contract rose 0.74%, or $ 0.48, to $ 64.91 a barrel.
