Investing.com – Canadian shares were higher after the close on Monday, and higher in profit.
The end of business in Toronto rose by 0.30% to a new all-time high.
Best performance of the season in submission NexGen Energy Ltd. (TSX :), which rose 12.79% or 0.610 points to close at 5.380. Denison Mines Corp (TSX 🙂 meanwhile ended at 1.63, adding 10.14% or 0.15 points. Blackberry Limited (TSX 🙂 gained 8.36% or 0.90 points to close at 11.67.
Worst performance of the season AcuityAds Holdings Inc (TSX :), which fell 13.34% or 2.320 points to close at 15.070 in late trade. Sindoor Energy Inc (TSX 🙂 fell 5.49% or 0.52 points to end at 8.95. Crescent Point Energy Corp (TSX 🙂 was down 5.59% or 0.30 points at 5.16.
The falling shares were reduced from 621 to 420 and ended unchanged on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Gold futures for June delivery gained 0.04%, or $ 0.75, to $ 1,729.15 an ounce. Elsewhere in the commodities trade, crude oil for delivery in May fell 4.48%, or $ 2.75, to $ 58.70 a barrel, while the June Brent oil contract fell 4.07%, or $ 2.64, to $ 62, 22 a barrel.
CAD / USD was down 0.38% to 0.7983 while CAD / EUR fell 0.01% to 0.6760.
US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.47% at 92.615.
