Investing.com – Canadian shares were up with gains after Friday’s close, and moved to higher prices.

It was up 0.56% at the end of trading in Toronto.

Best performance of the season in Render Nuvei Corp (TSX:), which closed 6.90% or 10.01 points higher at 155.11. air Canada (TSX:) meanwhile added 6.77% or 1.57 points to end at 24.70. methanex Corp (TSX:) was up 5.21% or 3.04 points at 61.41 at the close of trading.

Advance stocks on the Toronto Stock Exchange ended unchanged, falling from 613 to 408 and 109.

Shares of Real Matters Inc. (TSX:) hit 52-week low; decreased from 2.79% or 0.28 to 9.76. Methanex Corp (TSX:) shares hit 52-week high; with a gain of 5.21% or 3.04 to 61.41. Shares of Canopy Growth Corp. (TSX:) fall to 52-week low; decreased from 2.68% or 0.470 to 17.080.

The S&P/TSX, which measures the implied volatility of options, was unchanged at 0% at 11.27.

Gold futures for delivery in December rose 0.08%, or $1.35, to $1,758.35 per troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, crude for delivery in November rose 0.77%, or $0.58, to $75.61 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract was up 0.96%, or $0.75, to trade at $79.06 a barrel.

CAD/USD rose 0.38% to 0.7915 while CAD/EUR rose 0.30% to 0.6827.

US dollar index futures were down 0.19% at 94.065.
