Investing.com – Canadian stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, and, with prices falling.

Present season’s best performance Crescent Point Energy Corp (TSX :), which rose 12.20% or 0.51 points to trade at 4.69. Superior Plus Corp (TSX π meanwhile added 5.80% or 0.76 points to end at 13.86. Hudbe Minerals Inc (TSX π rose 4.44% or 0.40 points to close at 9.41.
The worst performance of the session was Canopy Growth Corp (TSX :), which fell 7.15% or 3.690 points to close at 47.920 points. Aurora Cannabis Inc (TSX π closed down 5.97% or 0.990 points at 15.580. Ballard Power System Inc (TSX π was down 4.21% or 1.71 points at 38.94.
The falling shares carried unchanged shares of 636 to 392 and 107 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Gold futures for April delivery rose 0.07%, or $ 1.25, to 1,774.05 troy ounces. Elsewhere in commodities trading, crude oil for delivery in March fell 1.06%, or $ 0.65, to $ 60.49 per barrel, while April Brent Oil contract fell 0.73%, or $ 0.47, to $ 63, Rs 87 a barrel.
CAD / USD rose 0.11% to 0.7879 while CAD / EUR fell 0.28% to 0.6519.
US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 90.602.
