Investing.com – Canadian stocks were lower after closing on Monday, and lower prices.

It fell 0.34% during trading in Toronto.

The best performers of the season were NFI Group Inc (TSX :), which was trading up by around 12.28% or 3.11 points to a level of 28.44. Meanwhile, Kronos Group Inc (TSX 🙂 added 8.89% or 1.02 points to finish at 12.49. Westshore Terminals Invest Corp (TSX 🙂 closed at 16.40, up 4.99% or 0.78 points to trade.

Worst performance of the season First quantum minerals ltd (TSX :), which fell 6.09% or 1.60 points to close at 24.66. Methanex Corp (TSX 🙂 closed down 4.09% or 2.38 points at 55.86. Lundin mining Corp (TSX 🙂 was down 4.08% or 0.485 points at 11.395.

The falling shares carried unchanged shares of 585 to 457 and 101 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Shares of Kronos Group Inc. (TSX 🙂 hit a 52-week high; Getting 8.89% or 1.02 to 12.49.

The one that measures the implied volatility of the S&P / TSX options was unchanged at 0% at 11.27.

Gold futures for February delivery rose 0.70%, or $ 12.90, to $ 1,848.30 per troy ounce. Elsewhere in the commodities trade, crude for delivery in February rose 0.04%, or $ 0.02, to $ 52.26 a barrel, while the March Brent oil contract fell 0.50%, or $ 0.28, to trade at $ 55. .71 per barrel.

CAD / USD was down 0.70% to 0.7827, while CAD / EUR fell 0.24% to 0.6433.

US Dollar Index futures were up 0.37% at 90,403.
