"Celebrity Big Brother": the presenter has been canceled

The new episode “Celebrity Big Brother” began at 10:15 p.m. However, this time something is different: Jochen Schropp has to lead the show alone.

Jochen Schropp has been in front of the camera as the moderator of “Celebrity Big Brother” since the second season. In 2014, the now 44-year-old comedian replaced Oliver Pocher. Four years later, the TV star first received support from Marlene Laufen – and since then he has not left her side.

The two will also moderate the anniversary season together. But now Jochen Schropp had to stand alone in front of the camera for the draft on Thursday evening without his colleague. “Welcome to Celebrity Big Brother,” the moderator greeted the audience at 10:15 p.m.

“And you see today unfortunately without Marlene Laufen. Unfortunately, she cannot be with me today. I hope she will be by my side again tomorrow,” said Jochen Schropp, 51, without giving a reason for the disappearance .

But it seems she is battling health problems, as Jochen Schropp told his colleague directly on camera: “Get well soon, Marlenchen, I will miss you very much.”

Marlene spoke for herself on Instagram: “I won’t be on the show today because I’m unwell. I really hope I’ll be back tomorrow,” the presenter said in a short clip.
