The 10:3 win against the Czech Republic is the 7th win in the 7th game – never before from a Swiss point of view.

The Swiss Curlers’ victory at the World Championships in Prince George, Canada, continues unabated. With 10:3 against the Czech Republic, the Swiss celebrated their 7th win in 7 matches – they had never had such a good start in the World Cup. Last year, Aargau Women also had a great start with 6 wins in the first 6 matches.

The Swiss made the decisive difference in the third end when they managed a three-way home run for a 4-1 lead. “If we keep playing like this, I won’t worry,” said Skip Silvana Tirinzoni, smiling after a clear and deserved victory.

Duel against the United States

The World Cup tournament for curlers continues on Wednesday as well. At 10 p.m. there will be a duel with the co-favorite title from USA (in a live stream on SRF).
