David Foster refuses to say why he divorced fourth wife Yolanda Hadid, but insists it experienced absolutely nothing to do with her illness.
When the two split in 2015 amid Hadid’s fight with Lyme condition, the record producer was roundly criticized for leaving his spouse although she was sick.
“How can I go away a ill woman?” Foster claims in the new documentary “David Foster: Off the History.” “The fact of the subject is that was not the purpose I still left. It was for a diverse purpose which I will never disclose that had nothing to do with her remaining sick.”
The duo have been collectively for nine several years and married for 4 just before saying their split in 2015.
His time expended appearing on Hadid’s exhibit “The Serious Housewives of Beverly Hills” was obviously not a thing he remembers fondly.
“My wife at the time wanted to do the demonstrate,” he recollects. “I did not want to be the male to say no.”

Foster, 70, is now happily married to 36-yr-outdated “American Idol” alum Katharine McPhee. The pair celebrated their very first marriage anniversary this week.
Irrespective of the significant age distinction, the two seem genuinely besotted with just about every other — even though McPhee admits that his reticence to delve into emotions can be irksome.
“There have been moments the place you feel like, ‘God does he have any empathy at all?’” she confesses in the Netflix documentary. “He’s so good at disguising what he feels. He just would like every little thing to be alright at all periods and if it’s not he’s gone.
“I said to him, ‘I require you to at least consider to understand how I feel’ and he was like, ‘Well, maybe you really should just depart then’ and I was like, ‘No, no, I know this is what you do so don’t play that activity with me.’”
Foster acknowledges that he’s no angel and suggests he can most likely be described as a “runner” in interactions — fleeing when problems occur. He has been married 5 times: to McPhee, Hadid, Linda Thompson, Rebecca Dyer and B.J. Cook dinner.
“Anyone that phone calls me an a–hole for the factors I have finished, I assume they are possibly right,” he concedes. “I assume I have been an a–hole a great deal. I’m not a cold-hearted motherf–ker either.”
The documentary, which commences streaming Wednesday, also options interviews with Barbra Streisand, Céline Dion, Josh Groban and Kristin Chenoweth.
