New Delhi:
A medium-depth earthquake of magnitude 4.7 struck around Delhi on Friday, prompting men and women to rush out of their homes. The quake was the newest in a collection of various small-intensity earthquakes jolting the metropolis in excess of the past two months.
The epicentre of the earthquake was 60 km southwest of Gurgaon in Haryana, according to India’s National Center for Seismology.
The earthquake struck at 7:00:50 PM IST at a depth of 35 km from the floor.

Delhi Main Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted, “Moderate earthquake tremors were being felt in Delhi some time back. Hope you are all harmless, take care of by yourself.”
