New Details on the Retro Cult Car
Electricity in the future!
The DeLorean DMC-12 has become a cult classic due to its appearance in the Back to the Future trilogy. Gullwing doors, stainless steel body – but a quality that, to put it carefully, wasn’t the best. Nevertheless, today around 50,000 euros are being sought for well-preserved specimens.
Already in February. Reported Delorean Motor Company Back with a Twitter post. The successor is coming! He is getting electricity. The manufacturer reveals the first behind-the-scenes preview and has provided more details on the social media platform.
The all-electric DeLorean is set to make its debut at the awards ramp at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 18th.
“The excitement rises like the doors of our legendary sports car. And we’re unveiling the next generation prototype three days ahead of schedule at the most prestigious stage in Pebble Beach,” said DeLorean Motor Company CMO Troy Beetz.
DeLorean already showed off a pixelated teaser of the electric vehicle of the future on Friday. A three-quarter shot to the left, including the taillights, followed Monday. We won’t know what the future Stormer will be called until August.
We’re curious whether this DeLorean will be successful. Or does the creator feel a la for “Back to the Future”.
