Canada without much effort against China

Two days after a 5–0 victory in the preliminary round, the Canadians struggled a bit and even allowed the Chinese to score two goals. But in the end it was a clear 7:2. In the quarter-finals against two-time Olympic champions Sweden, however, head coach Gerard Gallant’s team would have to improvise to win Olympic gold for the tenth time at the end of the tournament.
