The Queen is allowed on a weekend trip

Queen Elizabeth II seems to be in good health. After his night in the hospital, the 95-year-old is also allowed to go on a spontaneous weekend trip with the permission of his doctors. Your destination: Country property in Sandringham.

Many have recently been concerned about Queen Elizabeth II after spending a night in hospital in mid-October. Now the British monarch is doing a better job – at least enough for a spontaneous weekend trip to his country estate in Sandringham. The doctors had cleared the 95-year-old a day earlier, reports “The Telegraph”.

The Queen is said to have already flown in a helicopter from Windsor Castle to Norfolk, England, including at Sandringham House. The property is about 160 km north of London and is traditionally used by the royal family during the Christmas holidays. Elizabeth II often stays at Sandringham during her winter holidays.

Last Friday, a Buckingham Palace spokesman announced that the monarch would have to rest for two weeks on the advice of her doctors. The Queen then canceled her visit to the United Nations Climate Conference in Glasgow, Scotland. Earlier in the week, the 95-year-old insisted on speaking to heads of state with a loud video message. “The time for words has given time for action,” he said in a statement opening the summit on Monday evening (November 1).

In her statement, Elizabeth II wants the head of state to move beyond her petty and petty politics to seize a historic opportunity. She “hopes that this conference will be one of those rare occasions where everyone will get a chance to rise above the politics of the moment and show real state skills”.
