Dresdner Elliswain’s Youngster can play in the World Cup in Canada

Dresden. A dream comes true for Lucas Fled. The 19-year-old defender made it to the final squad for the U20 Ice Hockey World Championship in Edmonton, Canada. He recommended himself for a World Cup ticket at the preparation camp in Füssen. Dar, who was born in Shakeditz, would participate in such attractions for the second time. In 2019, he was part of the German U18 team in the World Cup in France.

Already on Sunday he went to Edmonton, where the team of head coach Tobias Abstreiter got the final touches of the World Cup and also played two Test matches against Austria and the Czech Republic. The DEB team will compete with Finland in Group A on 25 December. The hosts were then played against Canada (26 December), Slovakia (28 December) and Switzerland (30 December).
