The 19th season of DSDS is starting from 22 January

Everything new in DSDS 2022! And one thing is already certain: New jury with Florian Silberesen, Ilse DeLange and Tobey Gado The superstar shows the candidates where the musical hammer hangs! A foreshadowing of the new “Deutscheland Sucht den Superstar” season starting January 22 on RTL is shown in the video above. There is also all the information about the start, broadcast dates and live shows.

The new DSDS looks like this

When Florian Silberesen opens his accordion, Toby Gad sits on the piano and Ilse DeLange takes out his guitar, it’s time for DSDS! Clearly, music is the main focus for the new jury. And Florian Silberesen promises his superstar candidates: “Iles, Toby and I, we stand by your side and we are there for you – this is also the new DSDS.”

DSDS castings were entered in the summer in the markets of Wernigerode and Berghausen with a special feature: For the first time, talent appeared before a jury in a glass cube specially designed for casting. According to the motto “DSDS closer to the audience, closer to the fans”, interested passersby had the opportunity to experience the casting up close.

Looking forward to 13 casting episodes, 4 recall episodes and 4 live shows!

Now on to the most important figures: RTL will showcase the journey of the new superstar in 13 casting episodes from Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 8.15 pm. Two episodes will also run on Tuesday, January 25 and February 1, before four recall episodes begin and DSDS 2022 will end with four live shows.
