Behind the scenes, however, it was “an entirely different story,” says book author Valentin Low. “While enjoying the attention, Meghan missed the point of these visits and shook hands with many strangers.” The book also quoted a royal staffer as saying Meghan: “I can’t believe I’m not getting paid for this!”
