British Vogue’s editor Edward Enninful has uncovered that he was racially profiled on his way into the magazine’s have workplaces, with a security guard instructing him to enter the premises through the loading dock.
Enninful, who grew to become the magazine’s initially at any time Black editor-in-main in 2017, posted aspects of the incident to Twitter and Instagram on Wednesday evening.

“Today I was racially profiled by a safety guard even though coming into my function area,” he wrote. “As I entered, I was instructed to use the loading bay.

British Vogue’s deputy editor Sarah Harris replied to Enninful’s Instagram write-up declaring that the incident was “inexcusable,” whilst actress Gemma Chan wrote: “There is certainly so a lot a lot more function to do. Sorry this happened to you Edward.”
