When setting up OneDrive or OneDrive for Business, the OneDrive client in Windows shows synced files as history. At this point, documents can also be shared or different versions of files can be managed.

Manage downloaded files in OneDrive
By clicking on the icon, OneDrive displays the most recently synced files. A link is included with each file. By clicking on the link, OneDrive just synchronizes the source directory of the file. When hovering over files with the mouse, a menu with three dots appears on the right. Various options are available here. For example, different versions of files may be displayed here or an online version of a file that is already saved in OneDrive.
Version history can also be viewed in Windows Explorer through the context menu by selecting “Version History”. in windows 11 To do this, the “More Options” option must first be selected in the context menu of the files.
