Who is going to Turin for Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022? Fans decide that. Online voting has started and is running on ARD Popwellan website.
There are six functions to choose from The German ESC expert jury selected from all applications: Emily Roberts, Eros Atmus, Felicia Lu, Mal and Jonas, Malik Harris and Nico Suave and Team Liebe.
Vote online on your radio station
The vote is online on the pages of the nine participating ARD radio stations on ARD ESC Day Friday, March 4, 2022 at 8 pm possible. These are Anten Brandenburg, Bayern 3, Bremen Weir, HR3, MDR Jump, NDR2, SR1, SWR3 and WDR2. For the first time, these are an integral part of the selection process for the German preliminary round.

Online vote count 50 percent
The online voting result accounts for 50 percent of the decision. The ARD ESC day ends with the show “Germany 12 Points – German ESC Early Decision”. The show will be broadcast live from Berlin on March 4 at 8.15pm on our live stream, on all third ARD shows, on ONE and in the ARD Media Library. In the show, radio wave presenters present online voting results from their broadcast regions. Also present are: Marcus Asmus and Anneli Reineker (Antina Brandenburg), Katja Wunderlich (Bayern 3), Malte Jansen (Bremen Weir), Toby Kemmerer (HR3), Sarah von Neuberg and Lars-Christian Karde (MDR Jump), Elke Wiswedel and Jens Maherhold (NDR 2), Daniel Simroe (SR 1), Konstantin Zoller (SWR3) and Jan Malte Andresen (WDR 2).
Voting by phone and SMS
The other 50 percent of the vote comes from the show’s audience. They can vote for their favorite by phone and SMS. Moderator Barbara Schönberger announced the final result at the end of “Germany 12 Points – German ESC Preliminary Decision”.
