“Done! We successfully finished the first concert weekend after a mandatory 1.5-year break!” Petra and Stephen Reicher, “HOB i Raum” moderators, are excited about their successful return after such a long time.
Petra and Stephen continue, “We have also received very positive feedback on our COVID prevention measures.” The unanimous response was: You can feel safe here and still retain the character of the HOB i RAUM living room. The HOB Eye Room will also host art and culture fireworks displays in the coming weeks.
A special attraction will be with the stage photography exhibition “Music in Color and Form” by Rainer Rygalik from 5 pm on 25 September.
The music in color and form reflects a visualized version of jazz in Rainer Rygali’s photographic declaration of love for music. To date, classical music photography has focused primarily on static representations of musicians. A whole new path is being adopted here.
In the paintings of Rainer Rygalik, music first finds its way onto the canvas. In the passionate tension between musicians and instrumentalists, the instrument becomes the protagonist and assures us of an insight: music can also be observed.
Rainer Rygalik lives and works in Berndorf in Triestingal in Lower Austria. Born in 1953 in WR. Neustadt, he studied musicology, journalism and political science at the University of Vienna. 1983 founded the Austrian jazz magazine “Jazzliv”. Seriously photographing jazz since 1972. Exhibitions since 1980 in Wissen Niklsdorf, Vienna, Salzburg, Graz, Leibnitz, Paris, Berghausen, Tokyo, Washington, Buenos Aires, Mar del Plata, Pescara and many more
