“Familiar with Zero”: Animoon licenses all other seasons

Published almost a year and a half ago Animoon Publishing fantasy series first season »Familiar to Zero« (Japanese: »Zero no Tsukaima«) on disc. We can now exclusively announce that the publisher has also secured the rights for three other seasons.

Release will start in October 2021

Anymoon Publishing is launching a second season titled “The Familiar of Zero: Night of the Twin Moons” as a limited collector’s edition starting October 15, 2021. Once again, special additions will be offered, which will be introduced at a later date.

The other two seasons, titled “The Family of Zero: Rondo of Princesses” and “The Family of Zero F”, will also be released on DVD and Blu-ray with German and Japanese voice output. However, the specific dates are still pending.

The 13-part first season of “The Family of Zero”, which is entirely in Netflix Available, JCStaff was made in the studio and ran on Japanese television in the summer of 2006. Three other seasons, each consisting of twelve episodes, took place between summer 2007 and winter 2012.

Louise is a magician who is nicknamed “Zero Louise” because she cannot use her magic properly and therefore has no success. During an exam at her academy, she is asked to summon a confidant – a servant and companion who supports her as a magician.

Despite wanting a better confidant than his joking classmates, Lewis adopts Hiraga Saito, an average boy. Even though Lewis and Saito don’t want to accept each other, they have no other choice. Lewis cannot cast another spell and Saito cannot return to Japan.
