Former super talent Bojan Crick continues his journey through world football. As announced by the Japanese club, the now 30-year-old signed a contract with Vissel Kobe. Crick was without a club since the beginning of the year after his working paper ended at CF Montreal in the North American professional league MLS.
In Kobe, where Lukas Podolski also played for a few years, Crick meets Andres Iniesta (37). The two played together at FC Barcelona between 2007 and 2011. “Iniesta is special to me and I’m happy to play with him again. I want to score a lot of goals with him,” Crick said after signing the contract.
Crick was once considered one of the greatest talents in world football. The Spaniard made his debut for Barca in 2007 at the age of 17 and made a sensation in his first season with ten league goals. But he did not get success. In 2011 he moved to AS Roma, but even there he could not assert himself.
He then held positions at AC Milan, Ajax Amsterdam and Stoke City before he also played for 1. FSV Mainz 05 for half a year. After another unsuccessful loan to Deportivo Alaves, Krkic moved to Canada. Kobe is now their ninth station on the third continent.
