As part of the Xbox Gamescom show, Microsoft and Playgrounds also presented some news about Forza Horizon 5. In a trailer, for example, you can see the announced cover cars up close: the Mercedes-AMG One and the 2021 Ford Bronco Badlands. As is well known, Forza Horizon will soon enter the next round and will be included for all Game Pass subscribers when it is released on November 9, 2021.
This is what Microsoft says about the cars covered in Forza Horizon 5:
“Forza Horizon series sports have traditionally revolved around the fastest cars – which is why this year two very special models adorn the cover. One of the two cars is Mercedes-AMG One Hybrid technology running the racetrack With this performance in the rear, you can experience the roads of Mexico at breathtakingly high speeds. From 2021 Ford Bronco Badlands, which completes the cover, through the rough terrains of the jungles and deserts of Mexico Ideally suited for adventurous travel.
The choice of vehicles in Forza Horizon 5 is as diverse as the different landscapes you find on your way through Mexico. The integration of the Mercedes-AMG One and the 2021 Ford Bronco Badlands happened in close collaboration with all parties involved – you’ll see the latest when you first get behind the wheel of these luxurious vehicles.
The developers are proud to offer all Ford and Mercedes AMG fans the chance to compete in races with their favorite vehicles. Thanks to the versatile possibilities of the new generation of consoles, the driving experience is more authentic and expansive than ever before. For example, ray tracing in Forzavista ensures that the reflection on the shimmering paintwork draws even closer to the actual model. It was especially nice for the team to slowly adapt to this realism so that you and all the other drivers can enjoy even more immersive racing action.”
