Note for users who are not using the lab version but want to try it out:
- YOUR FRITZ! Read and confirm the information displayed on the AVM Laboratory page for the box.
- Click “Download” and save the file to your computer.
- Unpacks the lab file (*.zip).
- FRITZ! Update via the Box user interface and select “View: Advanced” in the footer.
- Select “System/Update” from the menu.
- Select the “FRITZ!OS File” tab. Save the settings of your FRITZ!Box. The performance must also be confirmed.
- Use “Select File” to select the firmware file you downloaded earlier.
- Click “Start Update”.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
During the update process the FRITZ! The “Info” LED on the box flashes. It ends when the update process is complete. Be patient, this process may take a few minutes. As soon as the update is complete, FRITZ! The box is restarted and ready to operate again.
