The land of lakes and forests has finally reopened its borders for Austrian vacationers. The tour operator has already registered several short-term bookings for September and October 2021. But even for the summer of 2022, the demand will increase significantly. “We are delighted that Canada will reopen in time for the Indian summer, as the country is clearly one of the most popular long-distance travel destinations for Austrians. We are anticipating an ever-increasing demand for the coming months, which is why the entire portfolio is likely to be rebooked and even by the end of October 2022,” said Doris Oberkanins, FTI Director of Sales and Marketing confirms. “Canada is ideal, especially in times of social distancing, as it is easier to maintain adequate distance than in the world’s second largest country in terms of area.”
