Following the presentation in November 2017, Tesla has now started placing orders for its Semi electric Semi truck, as reported by several internet media last week, but this is not true. In fact, the newly reported prices for the two versions were on the Tesla website long before that, and you could even reserve the Semi yourself in Europe from late 2017. What really seems new is that now you can see most of Tesla’s European websites are not getting any information about him. And with the Cybertruck, Tesla removed the option to reserve it outside of North America.
Tesla info instead of Cybertruck reservations
Both the Tesla Semi and Cybertruck presented two years later were postponed several times. Next year, though, it should be time for both, CEO Elon Musk said at the opening of the new Gigafactory in Texas in April. However, his statement from October 2020 that Cybertruck was designed specifically for North America and therefore would be impossible to meet global requirements should still apply. For example, in Europe, a new class for Tesla pickups may have to be created first, Musk said a year later at a party on the German Gigafactory site – with a German explanation that “a cybertruck is not a small automobile”.
As of late last week, you could still reserve Tesla pickups in Germany and other European countries, like the United States and Canada, but that too is gone. As observer @tesla_adri first noticed, the “Order” button for Cybertruck has been replaced with “Get Updates” on the German pages. The same happened with the rest of Europe as well as the Chinese Tesla website. The new link always takes you to a page where you can enter data to stay informed, but you can also tick Tesla models other than Cybertruck.
Tesla no longer accepts orders for Cyber trucks in Europe.

It only appears possible to pre-order the Cybertruck on Monday for the United States, Canada, and Mexico (all grouped under North America in Tesla), at least on Monday. Prices for this have not been displayed in the Tesla Configurator for North America since last October.
Most of Europe semi gone
And Tesla hasn’t been more open to customers with the Semi. In fact, in Germany, for example, it no longer exists in a certain way. There is no direct link to cms on the home page for a long time around the world. However, you can call up the pages via the drop-down menu and find there information about expected prices, which were reported several times last week as new: 500 miles in the United States. $180,000 for the distance and $150,000 for 300 miles, 150,000 euros and 130,000 euros in Europe. But recently (it’s unclear whether the change happened with Cybertruck itself) the semi-link in the Tesla menu has been missing in Germany and most other European countries as well.
Information about Tesla trucks is now available on the web only for the Netherlands, Norway and Great Britain within Europe. For these three countries, known prices were still given on Mondays and reservations were still possible. A European launch of Cybertruck should really be over for some time, but it doesn’t seem out of the question for the Semi, at least in selected countries.
