Paul McCartney reminds of John Lennon
With the birthday of his former bandmates approaching, Paul McCartney is sure to delight all Beatles fans: John Lennon will turn 81 this Saturday. McCartney also posts a black-and-white photo of the two on Instagram – with devices that seem unusual at first glance.
Musician Paul McCartney reminded his former bandmate John Lennon with a funny photo on Instagram. Both can be seen playing guitar; However, they hold their instruments on their chin like a violin. “Happy Birthday John – Paul,” McCartney comments on the black and white photo. The 79-year-old’s followers are over the moon, after all, that kind of insight into the Beatles’ band life doesn’t happen every day.
John Lennon would have turned 81 on Saturday (October 9). However, the Oscar and multiple Grammy award winner and peace activist was only 40 years old. On the evening of December 8, 1980, he was shot and killed by an assassin in front of the Dakota Building apartment block in New York City. Paul McCartney and John Lennon co-starred as George Harrison (1943–2001) and Ringo Starr as The Beatles.
A piece of Beatles pop history was recently auctioned off in Denmark. For 50,000 euros, one bidder acquired the cassette, which includes an unreleased song by John Lennon. “Radio Peace” was supposed to be the title song for a radio station that never aired. In addition, the tape should contain an interview with Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono.
