- First update disaster.
- Then delayed update.
- The mood is bad when it comes to the Pixel 6.
Google is slowly facing a really big problem in terms of its external image. The Pixel 6 Pro and its little brother aren’t much loved anymore. Background There are several errors that we have also reported over the past few months. Such is the case with some colleagues, including the world famous Marques Brownlee. The famous YouTuber has over 20 million followers on YouTube, Twitter, and Co.
Redemptive updates have been rolled out
Google Pixel 6: Getting away more and more
he also reports serious mistakes, which are no longer forgivable. He can no longer just Pixel 6 Pro not recommend, he went back to an old device long ago. “Combined with the latest botched updates, it just provides a bad experience,” he says of the Pixel 6 Pro.
Of course, the problem for Google is that more and more fans with a wider range are turning away from the current Pixel phones. And they do it publicly. The once good reputation that the two devices enjoyed when they launched is starting to crumble more and more. I’m using Pixel 6 with the November update right now. The two models with the December patch were partially unusable for me – too many bugs.
My Pixel 6 Pro has slowly gotten so small since it launched in October that I can no longer recommend it at $900. This combined with the latest botched update has been a bad experience. Till next review my sim is back in S21 ultra.

Known and widespread issues While there is extremely poor mobile reception, there are issues with Bluetooth as well. My pixel 6 pro sometimes comes out of standby with a blank screen, pixel 6 always(!) a stuttering start of the camera. Google also discontinued assistant functions due to errors.
Will Pixel 6a also have problems?
The current situation is bad. Google urgently needs to get its problems under control, not just the models currently available. In the long run, there could also be a delay in the upcoming Pixel 6a, which is also likely to come equipped with Google Tensor.
Anyway, Android 12 and Google’s own first processor present the smartphone department with challenges that aren’t that easy to get rid of. However, at the end of January, the redeeming update should be rolled out. We hope so and keep our fingers crossed.
