Call to action: VW must stop further development of combustion engines

Greenpeace assured in a statement that the stickers in DIN A3 format are eco-friendly and can be removed without leaving any residue. In an open letter to VW boss Herbert Diess, activists demanded that development of the next generation of combustion engines be halted.
According to Greenpeace traffic expert Wolfram Leonhart, some electric cars could not hide the fact that the company was “ruthlessly” continuing to develop and sell combustion engines.
Greenpeace: Action against cheap meat
The organization claims that VW vehicles alone are responsible for more than one percent of global greenhouse gases.
When switching to climate-friendly mobility, Greenpeace sees car dealers playing an important role: Through their mentorship, they can make a big impact on the type of drive that customers rely on. However, test talks by Greenpeace activists showed that the majority of sales staff still recommend combustion engines.
