Hamburg (DPA) – German hockey men have also won their third Test match at the UHC facility in Hamburg within five days.
On Thursday, the selection of national coach Cass Al Saadi defeated the Canadian team 7–0 (3–0) under preparation for the European Championships and the Olympic Games in Amsterdam. The DHB team had already beat Whitsunade 5–0 to the North American.
The goals were scored by Constantine Staub (second), Martin Hanner (fourth), Tim Herzbrook (18th), Linus Muller (36th), Marco Miltkau (45th), Justus Weigand (48th) and Malthe Helwig (58th). Al Saadi said, “It was great for me to see that people were on fire and were actually drawn to the last seconds. Active players make it even more difficult for us to nominate tomorrow for coaches,” Al Saadi said.
The series of Test matches will conclude with a second duel against France on Friday (12 noon). The first game for the DHB team ended at 5: 2.
