Insane cleanup casting: Anyone who finds a dead fly is allowed to work for the Queen - royals

The devil is in the details.

You need a lot of talent, commitment and a special eye if you want to work for Queen Elizabeth (95) and her family. Even if you’re not dealing directly with an elite member of the family, there’s a harsh job interview.

“Channel 5” in the documentationSandringham: Royals at Christmas“Human Resources Department Chief Tracy Waterman now reveals exactly how she settles “weak” housekeeping candidates.

“One test I like to do to see if a candidate has the eye of detail is to put a dead fly on either the fireplace or the carpet,” Waterman revealed. “As soon as the dead fly arrives, I will bring the candidate into the room.”

Then it gets exciting. Waterman accompanies the applicators into the room, strikes up a casual conversation and lets them admire the fireplace. Wait to see if the candidate notices the fly. But what does a dead fly have to do with the genius of the sweeper?

Waterman: “The difference between a cleaner in a five-star hotel and a royal palace is an eye for detail.”

This means in the royal application process: whoever sees the fly and picks it up gets the job. Because: The perfect cleaner must be attentive.

“I hope you see the dead fly and hope you pick it up. Maybe half the candidates will notice the fly. One in ten will actually bend over and pick them up. That’s the special housekeeper. Then the stress of the interview was worth it. ”

However, there is a royal reward for the quirky job interview. If you are hired, you can also stay in the palace and get additional food and travel expenses.
