Between 2015 and 2016, the now 57-year-old underwent a procedure known as CoolSculpting, a non-invasive alternative to liposuction. But it caused an uncontrolled growth of fat, disfiguring the former supermodel with bumps on her legs, under her arms, and across her face.
The surgical drama plunged her into “a cycle of deep depression, unbounded sadness, and deepest self-loathing,” Linda Evangelista tried to explain her personal low this year. She is suing the company that makes cold treatment equipment for $50 million in damages because she is unable to function after the procedures.
With her fresh start, Linda now wants to leave her surgical nightmares behind. Evangelista said of her first major modeling job: “I’m so grateful.”
