Platform operator M7 for cable and IP networks is expanding its existing portfolio with a new product line, the product “BasisHD Advanced” to be launched.
M7 is a Canal+ Group companyThe brand also acts as a B2B provider for TV services in , Germany and Austria. According to the company, this includes over 140 high-quality broadcast rights and licenses for German and international free and pay TV programs as well as VoD services. This makes M7 a content provider for the distribution channels satellite, cable, OTT and IPTV.
The new product line with the addition of advanced offers a multi-screen function thus bringing channels in HD quality to smartphones, tablets, PCs, Fire TV Stick and other end devices. With the new Instant Restart function, the current TV program can be reset to the beginning and watched with no time delay. Individual programs can be recorded via cloud recording, stored in the cloud and viewed on any supported device.
M7 A press release emphasized that these new additional services are available for almost all 23 free TV channels in the portfolio. This also included channels from Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland and Seven.One Entertainment Group. The managing director of Enviso Germany GmbH, which serves as M7’s business partner in Germany, is pleased: demand is very high, “as network operators really want to take advantage of the benefits of the IPTV platform.” Set a new standard.
