A 30-calendar year-aged person was allegedly kidnapped and tortured by 3 men, which include his employer, in Kothrud in Maharashtra above a financial dispute relating to the victim’s stay in Delhi on the firm’s dollars for the duration of the lockdown, law enforcement claimed on Sunday.
Nevertheless the alleged incident happened on June 13 and June 14 at the firm’s business office, an FIR was lodged only on July 2 with Paud police station, an official reported.
The complainant used to get the job done as a manager for the agency which organises exhibitions of paintings of artists, he reported.
He had gone to Delhi for some formal get the job done in March but got caught there thanks to the coronavirus-enforced lockdown, he explained.
The complainant stayed in a lodge in Delhi and used the cash offered to him by his business office, the formal claimed.
“After returning to Pune on May perhaps 7, the complainant’s employer asked him to get quarantined in a resort for 17 days. Considering that he did not have money, he mortgaged his cellular phone and debit card in advance of test out,” he stated quoting the FIR.
On June 13, the proprietor of the business and his aide demanded money invested by the complainant and bundled him into a motor vehicle, the official explained.
“They took him to the firm’s place of work where by he was confined. The owner and two other folks thrashed him and sprayed sanitiser on his personal pieces,” the formal explained.
They introduced him later on, he reported. The complainant received himself admitted in a personal medical center and lodged an FIR on Thursday.
