Majority in favor of ban on waiting: Swiss symbolic politics

Most Swiss people want to do something that hardly exists in their country. It is a shock to the generosity of the country.

NAnd sterilization is also banned in Switzerland. Voters on Sunday decided with a loyal majority that publicly nikah and burqa are forbidden. The popular initiative was more about a theory than a serious problem. Facial veins are extremely rare in Switzerland.

In short, because it is a question of symbolic politics, this decision is a setback for the country’s generosity. Yes, this is not just a victory for xenophobic forces in the country, who want to see a political statement completely veiled and in turn accept a ban on religious freedom. He allied himself with many liberals and leftists who perceive the veil as a sign of oppression of women.

The government and parliament moved a politically inefficient proposal to take the initiative. It not only envisaged an acknowledged obligation to lift the veil for official identity, but also strengthened the rights of women. It should be associated with new obligations for integration programs and development assistance, as well as expanded responsibilities for State Equality Offices. However, for other liberal forces who warned against the exclusion of religious minorities, again the intervention of the state was too much.
