Martin Dulig: What did your trip to Canada do for Saxony? , regional

Economy Minister on tour ,

What made your trip to Canada to Saxony, Mr. Dulig?

Dresden – Golden September in Montreal, Vancouver and Edmonton, plus A.O. A visit to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Natural Park and good food.

This list does not come from the “Meyers Veltrassen” list, but is part of the Canada itinerary of Saxony’s Economics Minister Martin Dulig (48, SPD). He was there from 26 September to 1 October.

Dulig himself and his spokesperson documented the visit in detail on social media. Apart from a few appointments, there are mainly restaurants and nature parks, jogging, sightseeing and photos admiring the sunset.

When asked, Dulig himself stated that the main focus was on exchange and cooperation in the areas of immigration, mining and hydrogen. However, when asked about concrete results, the minister deferred.

“The stability of such visits comes only after you know what opportunities for discussion and collaboration will arise later,” the economics minister said somewhat cryptically. But he was “very confident”.

In any case, there should be a “review” with fellow travelers early next year.
