The wife of US President Joe Biden is thus following a tradition, as in recent years the first ladies have repeatedly graced the covers of fashion magazines during the tenure of their husbands. However, one person did not receive this honor during her time in the White House: Melania Trump. The magazine did not dedicate a cover story to the former model as First Lady between 2016 and 2020. In a new TV interview, the former First Lady directly criticized Vogue and its editor-in-chief Anna Wintour for the decision, after her husband Donald Trump was forced to step down as US president.
