The exhibition ship MS Wiesenshaft is making a stop at Oberhausen this week. On her voyage through Germany and Austria, the ship stood at the pier at the Kaisergarten near Oberhausen Castle from Thursday (12 August) to Sunday.

This time, a practical exhibition on bio-economy can be seen on the converted cargo ship. 30 interactive stations show how detergents, medicines and cosmetics are made from mushrooms and how we can replace plastics with bamboo and corn. There are also wooden T-shirts, insect hamburgers and chicory stockings.
Registration required in advance
The exhibit is recommended for visitors 12 years of age and older and there is no admission cost. However, we have to announce our trip in advance. You can do that here: ms-wissenschaft.de/tour. MS Wissenschaft is on the move from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
