Above all, the existing KTM dealer network in North America – ie in the United States, Canada and Mexico – aims to promote the Italian brand MV Agusta in the region. As per reports, existing and newly added MV Agusta dealers are to be included.
More “street” and more “premium”
While the advantages of MV Agusta are clear, the objectives on KTM’s part are more indirect: with the MV Agusta range, the range of dealers in “Street” and “Premium” segments is strengthened, including associated customer service. In the United States, so-called multi-brand stores, i.e. multi-brand retailers, are common anyway. With its own offshoot brands Husqvarna and GasGas, KTM is also widely positioned in this regard. So now there MV Agusta has been added. We show their latest RC models in the picture gallery.
“win-win situation”
The managers of both sides, i.e. MV Agusta and KTM, describe the cooperation that has been agreed upon for many years as a “win-win situation”. At least when it comes to brand-specific engine concepts, there’s hardly any overlap: single-cylinder and two-cylinder from Austria, three-cylinder and four-cylinder from Italy.
Initially only in North America
If the joint presence in the North American sales region bears the expected fruit for both partners, expanding this cooperation to other regions would be quite conceivable. Maybe someday in Europe and even in Germany.
conclusion
MV Agusta motorcycles at KTM dealer showrooms – a stunning new constellation that will soon become a reality. However – initially – only in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
