New mod ensures extremely realistic textures

From Sarah Petzold
A modder has released a texture package for Minecraft that makes a total of 72 different blocks look very realistic. The mod radically changes the graphics of the game.

Anyone who has seen enough of Minecraft’s pixelated block look after years of gaming will find many options on the relevant modding websites to change or pimp the game’s graphics. A real highlight is the mod Crazy Realism by Nerdgirl_Art, which replaces block textures from Minecraft with photo-realistic designs.

Breathtaking optics with kappa shaders

According to the developer, the mod seeks to be a spiritual successor to the RealismXtreme mod. 1K Texture Package offers a total of 72 different blocks in Minecraft With a look that should come as close to reality as possible. The mod includes normal, reflector and elevation maps for each modified block. A Youtube video of the 1024x version shows how impressive the mod looks in action:

Because the mod may not work properly with Minecraft RTX, the modder recommends installing the Kappa shader package as well. The latter adds dynamic shadows, big clouds and fog to the game, as well as anti-aliasing and global illumination effects. Kappa requires a graphics card with OpenGL 4.0 and does not support graphics cards such as Intel HD Graphics 5000 or older.

You can use mod if you want Crazy Realism on NexusMods for free download. The Kappa shader package is also available on the CursGaming website free to download for settlement. Complete package with all modding material is also available at Nerdgirl_Art. from the itch.io website. Older versions of the mod are also available there.
