Developer Black Isle Studios does not appear to be averse to a new release of Baldurus Gate: Dark Alliance II.

On Twitter, the developer responded to the question of how it looks with the successor that Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II is “on the table”. While this is not a direct announcement, it is definitely being considered at Black Isle Studios.
PC release is currently in use. It is expected to be on Steam this year.

Balder Gate: Dark Alliance II was first released in 2004 for Xbox and PlayStation 2 and features five new playable characters, custom weapons and armor construction, and a brand new storyline. Time will tell if there will be a re-release, but the community will surely like it.
