Gamescom 2022 is still in full swing in Cologne, but the trade fair has already announced when it will resume next year. So get out your appointment calendar and round up the date of Trade Fair Week and of course Opening Night Live 2023 in red:
- When is Opening Night Live 2023? The next ONL is on August 22, 2023. There is no official time yet, but we can probably expect it to resume around 8 pm.
- When will Gamescom 2023 start? Next year Gamescom will run from August 23 to August 27, 2023.

This should come as no surprise to anyone, after all, Gamescom traditionally takes place around the last weekend in August and is thus following this specification as well. The fair will probably be on site again as of this year, but there is no official confirmation yet.

Even when it comes to Gamescom 2023 official schedule, we’ll probably have to be patient for quite some time. So far only the date of Opening Night Live has been revealed. It will almost certainly be re-hosted by host Geoff Keighley and bring news about the Games.

After a gap of two years, the fair is being held again this year. Still, our GamePro survey found that not many of you are going. At least one day there are just 41% of the people in Cologne. Aside from the ongoing pandemic situation, the reason many of you are missing out on a lot of big exhibitors like Sony or Nintendo.
