blessing in disguise: Apparently there were no casualties in the fire. At the time the fire broke out, an event in the stadium was said to be about 100 people, but on a different level.
Denver residents tweeted videos of black smoke billowing into the 76,000-seat stadium.
According to the Denver Fire Department, the fire has now been brought under control. How the fire started is not yet clear.
The NFL is currently on hiatus and the next season will not start until the fall. The stadium also hosts concerts and football matches. It could also be one of the venues for the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
