NFL: When and where is Super Bowl LV?

The 55th Super Bowl will take place on February 7, 2021 from Sunday to Monday at 12:30 p.m. Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida – Tampa Bay is home to the Buccaneers.

Since 2016, the stadium has a capacity of 65,857 spectators. On special occasions – and the Super Bowl is undoubtedly one of these – the capacity can be increased to 75,000. The plan is therefore to hold an event with around 22,000 spectators. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, NFC winner and AFC winner Kansas City major will compete against each other.

Super Bowl LV: Who will perform in the halftime show?

For Super Bowl 2021, the singer will appear on The Weeknd Holtime Show. “I am humble, honored and thrilled to be the center of this infamous stage,” the musician said.

Canada’s three-time Grammy winner follows in the footsteps of Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, who appeared on the LIV halftit show a year ago. The Weeknd had a mega hit last year with “Blinding Lights”. The song was streamed billions of times on Spotify alone.

There is no exact time for a halftime show, depending on the course of the game. It is kick-off at 12:40 am. Half-time takes about 1.5 to two hours.

In the past, stars such as Justin Timberlake, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Madonna, Bruno Mars and the Rolling Stones appeared in halftime.
