Mightier than a Formula 1 car: Nico Rosberg, a retired motorsport, drives only on the road – but faster than his former colleagues if he wants to.
An Excellent on Wheels: The Rimake Never is probably the most exclusive, fastest and most powerful electric car you can get a lot of money for. Only 150 customers around the world will experience what it’s like to be in control of this rocket. The first of them: Formula 1 legend Nico Rosberg (37).
The former world champion transferred two million euros to Croatia. There, production of Nemera has now begun at the Rimac factory near Zagreb. It takes five weeks for a supercar to be ready. But the wait should be worth it: With 1,406 kW / 1,914 hp, the Nemera will be the most powerful road car in the world, according to Rimac. There should also be an unmatched 1.85 seconds of 2,360 Nm of torque, a top speed of 412 km/h and a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h.
These extreme values are made possible with one electric motor per wheel, powered by a 120 kWh battery. While this battery can be depleted with just a few laps on the race track, it is enough for over 500 kilometers on the road, according to Remake. Then the racer has to go to the charging station named after a Croatian coastal storm. There it should be able to charge up to 500 kW – but so far only in theory, since the infrastructure does not yet provide such charging power.
