This is a logical challenge: Since March, 310,680 rapid test kits have already been distributed to the city and district’s stabbing schools.

It has been declared by the Strobing-Bozen district. The demand is currently covered until June 11 – and in this way the post-Whitson holidays. Since Strabbing is located at the state education office for the city and the district office for Strobing-Bogan district, distribution is also done for the city and district by the disaster control department at the district office. It takes place in close coordination in regular communication with Heberit Catterall, director of the school authority, Manela Behar from the school authority, and secondary schools. Among other things, a separate email address was set up for this purpose so that orders from individual schools could be better coordinated.

“It’s going very well now,” says Jürgen Biermayer from the disaster control team at the district administration. “With the final order, it only took a week for delivery by THW.” The tests are ordered from the Ministry of State for Health and Care and distributed from there to District Administrative Officers through THW from where they are controlled in schools. “We can conclude this issue for May today. This week FFP2 masks have also come from the Free State, which will also be distributed to schools in the city and district,” Jürgen Biermier explains.

Tests for staff in daycare centers as well

The logical challenge lies not only in the organization of quantity and distribution, but also in the difficulty of forecasting in view of constantly changing requirements. For example, in the requirement of primary schools, it was assumed that the event threshold value for the requirement is 100 decisive. But now it should be converted to 165 value. “But we have to show flexibility more often in the last 14 months and we will be able to do it again now,” says Jürgen Biermier.

Tests have also been given to childcare facilities separate from the city and district. But only for the staff there. Therefore, there are significantly fewer, with approximately 16,000 trials. In the town of Strabbing, the city’s fire brigade takes care of the issue in coordination with the Youth Welfare Office, with the Youth Welfare Office in charge in the district. – weaves
