There will be another public beta before the launch of overwatch 2 Do not give in two months.
Blizzard’s John Spector confirmed this on Twitter, responding in advance to inquiries from fans about further testing phases.
In early access without further beta
“While we will continue to test OW2 internally on a daily basis, we do not plan further public beta testing,” writes Spector. “With all the valuable feedback we’ve received from our alpha and two public beta tests, we’ll be focused on releasing the best possible game on October 4th.”
On the other hand, you can watch Early Access, with Overwatch 2 debuting October 4th as a beta of sorts. Since the game is a free title to play, you don’t have to pay anything to play it.
More Overwatch 2 news:
The first beta of Overwatch 2 was only available on PC, the second beta was available on PC and also on consoles including cross-play.
However, fans have not reacted so positively to the news, particularly criticizing the lack of an open beta.
With all the valuable feedback we’ve received from our alpha and 2 public beta tests, we’ll focus our efforts on launching the best possible game on Oct. Fourth (2/2)

Reactions have been similar on Twitter and Reddit, including the lack of new features for Support Heroes in the previous beta.
How do you see it? Would you welcome another beta, or do you think Blizzard should take care of everything after the Early Access launch?

I’m really hoping they knock support out of the park like they’ve done with Tanks and DPS, and thought the third beta would be more support focused and was really looking forward to it! I https://t.co/XC5t0v2Qq8
