A team of guys purchased the well-liked south Indian dish sambhar-dosa at a properly-recognised cafe in central Delhi’s Connaught Location, but in its place they received an unappetizing shock that they are probably to keep in mind for a though – a lifeless lizard in their bowl.
The incident took place at Saravana Bhavan in the posh market location, known for luxurious hotels, large-conclude eateries and procuring complexes. Very long queues outside the cafe on weekends and even weekdays speak of its acceptance.
In a video clip, which is getting commonly circulated on social media, two adult men are witnessed holding out the carcass of the lizard on a spoon fifty percent-eaten food is visible in the background. The adult men are viewed yelling at who look to be the cafe employees. “I have eaten some bites (from the sambhar bowl). Half of the lizard is lacking,” he states to the workers of the cafe popular for its south Indian dishes.
The adult men then take pics of the restaurant menu, which displays the name of the restaurant. They later on shared the movie on social media and submitted a complaint with the law enforcement.
A circumstance has been registered over the incident.
Saravana Bhavan is a person of the biggest south Indian cafe chains in the world, with 39 retailers in the place and 87 joints abroad. It was launched in Chennai in 1981.
