There’s an important system function behind some Windows files with surprising names. Those who accidentally delete them will soon run into problems. Fortunately, the system can be fixed with a simple trick.
Once a computer user gets used to it, sometimes there is no stopping them. Instead of just old documents, photos and videos or temporary files, important system files that the user didn’t recognize, such as these sometimes get under the wheels.
needed Windows 10 After removal, if it crashes or if some functions are no longer available, you can try to repair the operating system with the on-board verification program.
This program searches for system files and automatically replaces faulty or missing system files. To start the program, do the following:
- Start Command Prompt with elevated rights. To do this, type in the Windows Search field “cmd” (without the quotation marks). Then right click on the result and select “execute as administrator”.
- Tap “sfc / scannow” (note the spaces) and press Enter. Wait for the process to finish.
In the best case scenario, Windows will restore the missing files itself. You may need to restore the files manually. To do this, you can start repairing Windows using a USB stick with a Windows 10 image. You can make such a USB stick yourself. We’ll show you how to do it in our photo show (above).
After you have created the USB stick, restart the computer and boot from the USB stick. Usually F8 or F12 show the boot menu. If that doesn’t work, try the following keys: Esc, Del, F2, F9, F10, F11. It may already be told in the boot window which key you have to press. If you get into the BIOS or UEFI, use the arrow keys on the tab to leave it “severance” (The tab name may vary depending on the system).
If you started with a USB stick, follow the on-screen instructions and select “Computer Improvement”. if you “Install now” Windows will be reinstalled. Next, choose “Troubleshooting”, Then “Extended Options” and then “jump start”. here you choose “Windows 10”.
